All of the Mastercrafted witcher swords (Griffin, Feline, Wolven, Ursine) are all the best. I think the Ursine has a slightly higher base damage but the Feline sword has a built in attack power bonus.

Overall using the Feline set will net you the highest damage as all pieces give attack power bonuses.

Those are not in hearts of stone. The witcher gear is in the base game.

Go to all the armorers and blacksmiths you can find and buy any and all maps/papers that they sell. Go into your inventory and read them. These will activate the witcher gear treasure hunt quests. Check your quest log to track them.

Base dmg for all crafted weapons are the same if i''m not wrong. Special stats that differ, but those are related to your character build and your playstyle more than anything.

I'm using Wolf swords for +20% crit chance, runed with 15% attack power each and i play a more fast attack focused build with quen as my main sign.

im using a silver sword with 760 hit power and three slots set with 25 freezing and 50% crtical chance build your own they seem to be more powerfull than the witcher gear also the rune master in hearts of stone can enhance them even more powerfull! and your armor to

AN ' Ferthe magic silver sword 622 / 760 damage with 4%ingi , 3% adreniline point gain, 50% critical hit bonus damage and 8% freeze bought from sword maker in oxenfurt or noviguard cant remember which one also skellige has sword venders selling awesome swords to.

It's all level based. No point in looking for the ''best'' sword when a couple levels will grant you a better one, and all the actually unique gear is guaranteed to be worse than whatever you can get off a Witcher Contract.

Even the best Witcher swords become useless after a point since they don't scale with your level.

Feline set doesn't net you the highest damage. Ursine gives truckloads of Adrenaline and Bear school perk buffs strong attack. I was doing 4-5k crits on Wild hunt warriors at Kaer Morhen. lvl 29. The fast attack damage is also not much different and you have loads more HP.

I used to be a Feline wearer myself for two playthroughs but Ursine has made me a believer.More durable and more burst dmg. Also more chance to proc instant death on mobs as you have so much more adrenaline for deadly precision.
