I have yet to find any armor better than my master feline set, and the ursine swords I use have yet to be topped by anything else as far as bonuses go. Am I doomed to be level 70 with crappy gear? This seems like a huge oversight if so.

some "gnomes sword" are for lvl45+, I just finish the game for the first time :D!

How did you even find enough XP to reach lvl 55?? Doubt devs expected your mods when they designed items. In NG+ you'd find legendary witchers gear plus other high level versions of normal diagrams and loot'd also go up +30 or so levels above normal.

I too am wondering how you got so high. Ive finished the game and cleared as many mobs as i could find. IM nearly lvl 40. Yet most mob now only give small exp. So how did you get that high?

Either he is playing ng+ and didn't get higher level schematics, or he modded his game and going way beyond then what the game was designed.

Either he is playing ng+ and didn't get higher level schematics, or he modded his game and going way beyond then what the game was designed.

But all witcher diagrams everything's in same spot so if he found them in normal game he should've them in NG+ too so I'm definitely thinking mods.

Legendary gear is basically the level 34 gear but at level 64 and only available in new game plus.

But yeah, the game was designed to end around level 34, 39 for HoS. You want better gear you need to start new game plus. Your mods made you level higher than what was intended.

If you start NG+ first set of witcher gear (I think lvl 11 in normal game) will've lvl 41 and will be called legendary eg "legendary feline steel sword". This then has progressively higher lvl variants enhanced legendary, superior legendary (lvl 59-60) and finally mastercrafted legendary (lvl 64). All other gear sold by merchants also gets pushed up by 30 lvls so if you've something from normal game you want to try you should buy it first and have it on you or in stash before starting NG+.

No Idea how you hit 50 + while still using your basic set (prior to NG+),lol.

Also,the Witcher - Sets start from 39 (Basic V) and go up to 64 (Master Crafted).....you just have to re-farm them.
