Triss or Yennefer?

Is it better to be with triss or yennefer?

Well I think one of the best moments in the game, is the whole djin mission where you break the spell that binds Geralt to Yennefer. And then you decide if you still have feelings for her. It was brilliant writing whoever thought of this.

The way I look at this, If you want Geralt to be miserable in love/hate relationship, go with Yennefer. If you want to give him a chance for happy relationship, you go with Triss.

Triss is the only true answer, the only one who loves Geralt with all her body cells.

Ive always chosen Triss. She just seems more down to earth. Yen seems like she might be too high maintenance at times.

Somehow i just dont see geralt in a relationship tbh, the guy is a vagabond, hes allways moving about doing witcher things and banging at his leasure, not husband material if you ask me, do you really see this guy settling down to a mundane home life i dont see it tbh lol, furthermore the sorceresses seem more concern with their machinations than with romance, their all a bit narcissistic

Geralt is not in a traditional relationship but yennefer isn't a traditional woman. Their relationship suits both of their personalities perfectly and it's written in a way that illustrates both their desire for love and their reluctance to settle for love. It describes both unrequited love and imperfectly unconventional love very well imo.

Well put, i guess they could have some kind of open relationship, im still in Velen so i havent explored the relationship between him and yen that much, had some sex with keira thou lol friends with benefits she said, but ive played both witcher 1 and 2 and none of the relationships from those games ever lasted much, both his relations with Shani and Triss were just fleeting romance not to mention Geralt allways seems eager to have affairs with a ton o women, it seems to me geralts life style is just not compatible with any healthy long term relationships, maybe ill change my mind as the story progresses in witcher 3, i did like the way you put it, well said. tbh i think yen wont like my transgressions XD she did mention Triss in a jealousy way. Im extrapolating from the games cause ive never read the books mind you

The relationship with Gerald and yen is pretty well written in the last wish. This plot point is addressed in the witcher 3, and it is also the topic of much focus in the tv show.
There really can't be any other serious answer than yen. Literally no other choice.
