New next gen graphics?

I downloaded again to see the new free DLC for the next gen graphics but sadly looked the same or not much better a t all. Anyone else have this issue or did I miss a step?

Most settings need to be ultra+ if you want to see the better changes like denser grasses and better textures etc. RT too but I think that is only if you play DX12? I dont bother with RT anyway as I prefer a buttery smooth fps over a laggy fps with the RT on

Foliage visibility distance and textures should be easily noticeable. If you don't notice these then there may be something wrong with your pc/game.

Could be. I'll have to check the drivers i supose. Did you all notice big differences?

This is probably why, you have to set it to Ultra+. Ultra is the same Ultra as before.

This is probably why, you have to set it to Ultra+. Ultra is the same Ultra as before.

Nope… not even remotely. Textures are still the updated version, so is foliage, foliage render distance is upgraded, lod. No matter what settings. Old settings are not the same as the new ones

Maybe check some comparison videos so you can see what it should look like. It’s possible it looks like you remember and not how it really was.
As the previous poster said, you don’t need to have it on ultra+ to see the difference.
RT is also a great addition but at the moment it isn’t well optimised, so it may not be worth the heavy impact on FPS. In fact I’m playing on dx 11 since I’m not using RT for now.
The best bits for me were gameplay tweaks (quick casting etc) and the new camera angle.

This all makes sense. Thanks for the input I may try again after i finish up a few other games or maybe on the weekend here if time permits.

Ultra+ is the next gen settings. Ultra is just 3.32. Just use a Reshade on the game, boost curves, levels, vibrancy and sharpening turn off in game shapening.
