[BUG] Yennefer doesn't spawn during Ugly Baby quest

I have done every conceivable thing from reloading before Kaer Morhen to completing all the other elements of Ugly Baby first but I cannot complete Disturbance because Yennefer simply isn't at the top of the castle. Is there any work around for this?

I can't fathom why this has happened. I'm not running any mods and this is pathc 1.22 how could this have slipped through the cracks?

Okay for anyone who runs into this bug just keep doing everything else there is to do in Kaer Moerhn and re-entering the staircase from different angles and eventually Yen will spawn. Two in fact. So weird.

hey mate, i've just encountered this bug as well, could you elaborate on what you mean by re-entering the staircase at different angles? I've done the final trial/forktail quests at kaer moerhn already so all that I have left is "Help yen fix the megascope" but there isn't any quest marker and she isn't at the top of the tower.

You just have to keep ascending the stairs at different angles. Litterally go up and come back down until the cutscene begins. It's pretty ridiculous actually.

A user had this problem too and he gave me the save and it worked for me (the cutscene with Yennefer played)
If you have a friend with TW3 installed ask them to run your save and there's a chance it will work I'm sure

Version 1.22? The current version is 1.31.

I came up and down the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stairs 5 time. I deactivate all mods. I went back to a very old save and played again,. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing. I didnt had the problems in 4 other walkthroughs just this one. WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ is going on? I get into Kaer Morhen and just for a second I can see her quest arrow then poof gone and Yennefer is nowhere to be found...

For anyone else who gets stuck on this I found it had something to do with my talking to Lambert before Yennefer. He is in the great hall below Yennefer's room in the tower. Talking to him first caused me to lose the quest marker for Yennefer. I rolled back to a save before I spoke to Lambert and her quest was still active and the cutscene triggered.
