Locked at 60fps

The most annoying thing... I have a 1070 Superclocked and running the game on maxed out settings no problem. The thing is, is that the frame limit is capped at 60. No matter what graphics setting I put it to, it stays at 60. Even on the Unlimited option. Very annoying to me as I am trying to benchmark. Any solutions?

You could try to manually edit user.settings file in YourUserName\Documents\The Witcher 3
But make backup copy of it before changing stuff, it may break the game.

Please, PLEASE do some research. Eyes do not work like cameras; they do not have framerate caps. I own a 144hz monitor, and I can personally assure you that this issue is extremely important to me.

disable vsync ingame and nvidia cpl settings works for me

get 72-75 fps with my Adaptive vsync turned off
normally my ingame vsync is turned off anyway, i use nvidia cpl to force Adaptive vsync using global settings, so just disabled that and it went over the 60fps mark

Doesn't matter, it needed to be said. Also this thread turns up in search results, who the %$#! cares if it's "necro stuff". Well maybe people like you who for whatever reason hang out in steam forums all day.

And, no this doesn't work currently with GOTY version.

super easy fix for this theres an unlimited option on the left most of the fps slider in the settings option,idk why on the left rather than the right but hey

Read first before replying. He said BENCHMARK this means you want everything unlocked so max FPS and not capped FPS other wise benchmark a game is useless.

you do see the difference between 60 and 144 or 240 if you have a monitor that supports it.
