Honestly, if you don’t have a solid RTX system.. just go ahead and play. Cause you wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the updates real purpose. The rest are some Mickey Mouse Netflix inspired skins.

They’re saying the update is due 2nd quarter of 2022

if you haven't already.. now is a good time to to play Witcher 1, then 2.. by the time you're done.. the update will be out, and you'll be ready to go.

Wait for the remaster. You have already waited this long. Like dantes said, play The Witcher 1 and The Witcher 2. You carry over the progress from these games and some key choices make a difference in how some events go. They are also great games and really worth playing before playing Witcher 3.

No. The game already looks great, and even after a "remaster" its still going to be the same damn game, just even harder to see anything.

You can always replay when the remaster is going to come out. Also keep in mind that it is very possible that on the release date there are going to be quite a few bugs which might be resolve by patch 1.2, 1.3, etc... So just go through the whole trilogy now and when remaster is good to go just start a New Game +.

If you don't mind waiting until the middle of 2022 for it, go ahead. It was announced yesterday that it's delayed.
