I CANT DAMAGE THIS GHOUL (HELP)

I am lvl 9 on the fake papers side quest and i have to kill this lvl 9 ghoul yet i dont even damage it.

Leave the area and come back. If you are doing 0 damage it is probably a bug. It is a VERY rare bug but I've seen it happen once in my earlier playthrough.

Its propably a bug since i tried to kill it with both of my swords just to be sure

Try loading a previous save or reset the game once you are away. When it happened to me it was a random encounter that didnt matters. So I never went out of my way to find a fix and just carried on.

But do you REALLY do 0 damage or just cant offset it's HP regen? Because one is a bug and the other is simply a lack of damage.

Try loading a previous save or reset the game once you are away. When it happened to me it was a random encounter that didnt matters. So I never went out of my way to find a fix and just carried on.

I just deal 0 damage even when i crit it.Its propably a bug i will try to reset the game thank you

There are some ghouls that have another name and they have spikes on their backs. You have to use the spell which slow them (forgot the name of the spell) and they will put down those spikes for some time. Maybe you are facing that enemy. When you attack it do you stumble back?

Alghouls still take damage when their spikes are up

I suppose you used the necrophage oil and the Igni sign. For alghouls (the ones with pikes), Axxi sign ... If that's the case and still doesn't work for you, another way to increase damage is to fight mounted and galloping on Roach. If the damage is still zero, I think you should check the integrity of the files installed in your game and / or start from a previous save. Good luck, mutant!

You deal very minor damage with the wrong sword, not zero.
