ofc not. why'd they design game that way? anyway there's always debug console.
im not going to cheat unless its a bug in the game like in skyrim how you can go find chestsa dn go thought walls to get vendor chets and loot them.
or like games like gta 5 whree you can sell the same car over and over and over for money.
many games have things devs dont think or see is able to be done so they are still in the game. or it could be an araa of the map that has higher value items.
or like in fallout how you can do the ammo glitch to make tons of money. you just dont think outside the box enough it seems.
Weapons to weapon smiths, armor to armor smiths, and so on (I forgot what the other merchants are at the moment).
Do witcher contracts to gain money as well. It's tough in the early game but later you'll have a nice supply.
perhaps many but i'd think not even half :p you probably already googled tw3 so you'd know :) afaik there's neither trade nor crafting arbitrage in tw3 nor any gold or item multiplication glitches.
anyway what'd you consider 'lot of money'?
1. Actually loot.
2. Actually sell the loot to the right vendors.
3. The right vendors are as follows.
sell swords to merchants that sell swords
sell armor to merchants that sell armor
sell alchemy ingredients to people who sell alchemy ingredients.
sell books to merchants that sell books.
4. If you are selling stuff and are only getting 200 coin and its not enough to repair your ♥♥♥♥ you are doing 1 of 2 things.
your either not picking up anything not looting.
or your not picking up not looting enough and selling ♥♥♥♥ to the wrong vendor.
After i completed white orchard i had 1400 or so enough to buy the full set of temarian armor
After i completed velen i had 11k
after novide 30k
After skelliga 111k
end of base game 130k
Hos went back down to 75k because of the rune crafting
blood and wine ended that game back up around 111k
making coin is as easy in this game as any other game.
Its you as the player that is the problem. Your doing something wrong thats causing your money problems.
Doesn't want to cheat, yet has a vac ban.
Keep going until a big boy comes by that's gonna cheer on your efforts.
Second fastest way is to do contracts.
I am full of gold right now, and i only spend it on some occasional crafting item i am lacking or repair kits for weapons and armor.
I have bought zero things and still only have like 100 coin after a few hours of playing. i loot stuff but the only look i get is like brains or meat and stuff like that, i have had like silver and silver pants and stuff but it only sold for like 8 coin when it says it sells for alot. maybe selling to the wrong vendor like you said.
oh. just 500. that's not much at all (i finished vanilla game with 120k and probably'd another 100k in unsold gems glyphs trinkets and crafting material). this may actually've some useful answer. eg skellige smuggler cashes ("?" spots in ocean) give thousands of gold so as long as you've access and can fight off sirens go for it. where're you located and in story?
