As i just remember there was feline armor that iş light. How was the others?
Manticore is good for alchemy, and Griffin is good for magic if you like to specialize in those.
There's Wolven, Feline, Griffin, Manticore, and Ursine/Bear Grandmaster sets as far as I remember.
Other than that I'm lucky in that I like the higher level sets, except Griffin that makes Geralt look fat, whichever set he's wearing.
On the other hand I feel gutted on new game plus when I have to wear the more basic gear again.
I tend to keep my old grandmaster stuff until I can at least wear superior legendary.
Bear looks good too, but the stats on the set are pretty static and it ends up being mostly looks.
I see this typed everywhere, but still don't understand it.
I started at 41, at 54 right now, still using Grandmaster Wolf. Nothing i am picking up matches the wolf set, and the only thing that will outdo it, is probably going to be NG+ witcher gear, legendary perhaps.
What would you be refering to when you say "i have to wear basic gear again"?
I've had Wolf during non +
I say afford because i bought most the mats, plus the fees to build it, ending up spending some 30k, just about all i had. Didn't stay in B&W long enough to collect all materials myself, and perhaps get all GM sets.
Viper looks pretty nice too.
