Best ending for Blood and Wine?
Honestly for me is the one where Dettlaff kills that ♥♥♥♥♥, even if it means you don´t get 5000 crowns and the order, you don´t need silly medal from a spoiled, dumb duchess. And gold... kek

Also, Regis is free and Regis is best vamp bro.

BTW which are the possible people that can visit you in the end? I got Yen, so I bet Triss is possible too, but who else?

Even if she is empress? No Shanni?

But I´m more curious about what ending people think it´s best, and if they should have put in an ending where no one died. All of the endings are a bit bittersweet.

You can get Dandelion, Ciri, Triss and Yen to visit you at the end. And yes, Ciri can visit you while she is empress.

As far as endings go, I think the most fitting one is the one in which Syanna kills Anna in front of everyone. The happy ending is too happy and the one where Geralt goes to prison is too unexpected IMO (Mostly because how could he justify letting Dettlaff go after everything he's done, he's killed people for far less before).

i prefer the vampire die tho, he's been living for too long.

So u jelly?

Yes that´s my POV. The Night of the Long Fangs happened because the stupid duchess was too full of herself. Trying so hard to save someone that only changed her mind and didn´t kill her after much effort.

That´s why I like the Syanna dead, Dettlaff alive ending the most. Get the fifth letter, and rub in her face "hey stupid, all the people in your duchy died because you defended that piece of ♥♥♥♥" :steamhappy:

Uh, because he was used and manipulated -- something Geralt should be all too familiar with, in my opinion.

Are they used to slaughtering entire cities by commanding supernatural armies due to being used and manipulated?

Nope but Yen sure didn't care how many people were hurt or killed in Rinde when she was trying to gain control of that dijnn.

Detlaff did not know the truth. Syanna lied to him about everything and manipulated his actions throughout. He's not responsible for the deaths. His "tantrum," as a friend of mine called them, were due to her as well. So yeah I blame her for all of it.

Geez, what is it with you dodgeballing issues. What does Yennefer have to do with any of it? Are you seriously comparing her chase after the Djinn (whose killings, if any, aren't even accounted for in The Last Wish) against a vampire commanding an entire army razing a city to the ground? What is wrong with you?

I never claimed Syanna was not at fault. If you feel however that killing innocents because you hold a grudge with your ex is justified, then suit yourself.

No one is saying that Dettlaff is 100% right, the point is that all could be avoided if the dumb duchess didn´t suddenly develop feelings of guilt, and kept a bandit commander and murderer (Syanna) and blackmailer of murders by proxy (Dettlaff) in prison, instead of letting her go. The story would end right there with Dettlaff either sparing her or killing her and moving away.

If you think putting innocents at risk because you are dumb and arrogant and protect a piece of ♥♥♥♥ is justified, then suit yourself.

Where did I say anything along those lines?

Do you honestly think Detlaff would have gone to such measures on his own, if he had not been manipulated or provoked? He certainly hadn't in centuries of living on Geralt's world. There were extenuating circumstances. If you choose to ignore them, that's on you. I was asked for my opinion and I gave it. Feel free to disagree. I'm done arguing crap like this.

I don't get why are you even arguing that. I'm not saying Dettlaff doesn't have his reasons, I'm saying those reasons hardly account for the destruction of an entire city.

A destruction that only happened because the dumb duchess protected her murderous, dangerous and manipulating sister.

Are you retarded?

Do you really have to go that way?

I'm not even disagreeing with you, did you really read anything of what I've said?

Your thread is about which ending people thought was the best, I claimed that I liked the one in which Syanna, Anna and Dettlaff die, because given the story as a whole none of these characters should walk away free.

Do you honestly have to call me retarded for that?
Gabriel Angelos Aug 3, 2017 @ 7:50am
Yes I made a post about this before, Syanna should die for her crimes or at least be severely punished which never happens if you go full out white knight.

The ending that gave me most satisfaction was Geralt going to jail, its a sobering thought that even with all his abilities and skills he isn't superman and just like all of us can be crushed by those in power.

The ending where everyone dies is also decent and just ,as Detlaff did go overboard but then Regis has to pay for his mistakes.

Syanna was the fool to toy with such a powerful being, pure arrogance just like her stubborn pigheaded sister.

There is no good or bad ending for this dlc, cos things are so complex, but i ended up killing the vampire and making peace between the sisters.
