Olgierd von Everec fight

Just fought him on deathmarch, what a rush. So few combat challenges that it makes one rare fight memorable.

Olgierd will always parry and counter, evade and hit won't cut it.

I was shaking with left over adrenaline after beating Olgierd on deathmarch and I wouldn't have done it without a couple of good potions...hard but rewarding, as you say.

As for extreme cosplay...I don't even want to try it! If it wasn't for the fact they won't follow up the stairs I'd be killed on blood and broken bones...they're savage!

I did the fight on Death March, but I think my Geralt is way too OP. Did the fight with full Grand Master Wolf set (including swords with some Runes), used Katakan extract, then mid battle consumed the Ekimmara extract, kept doging and using Quen (I have 2 Quen boosts, Intensity and Explosion to max) so I did insane damage at some hits with the Katakan extract, recovered health with the Ekimara one after each hit, used Thunderbolt to add even more damage. He does hit hard, half health with a single hit, but I kept dodging and using Quen, it was not that hard, but extremely fun and due to the difficulty, you have to pay attention to what happens.

Perhaps you were a bit OP, guessing you were at much higher level since you have the grandmaster set, and mutation too? I was fresh from wild hunt and my hit on him on average was 300 damage and 600 on crit, didn't put any point on quen but it was enough to shield me from big hit.

It was memorable because it was a fight with one of my favorite character and in deathmarch he wasn't a pushover. It was a long fight with my every blow being parried all the time, until I saw his weakness and manage to chip away his health, no spoiler tho ;)

Olgierd was far better that those wild hunt scum.

I was having a really bad time with Toad Prince on Death March, he would kill me a single hit, so I decided to start Blood and Wine to level up a bit and to get the Wolven gear set, then went back to Hearts of Stone, but even like that on Death March with enemy level scaling on, bosses are extremely unforgiving, had to turn that off or I would die in a hit most of the time. I also have a mod that increases damage for the enemies so that makes things a bit harder, I had to do that since even on Death March, I felt it was too easy because the Geralt on my game is beast, specially due to BaW special mutations. Maybe I will start the game from scratch with all of these mods, then do HoS first so it gets harder for me. :D

Which one? The real Olgierd or the Iris greatest fear? There's an achievement for waking up all the olgeird clone and kill them in one go, super easy with bomb or whirlwind.

Toad prince is face palm easy. All of the poison will heal you with golden oriole.

Did not have the Golden Oriole. Face palm easy? Sure it is when you play on Easy mode with no enemy scaling. Try Deatch March+enemy level scaling, its a 1 hit kill if you are the same level as the Toad or just a bit more.

You are not even at NG+, doubt you are on DM. Great to see that you are a phenom at the game that the rest of The Witcher 3 players can only aspire to. Toad Prince is considered one of the hardest boss in the game, the hardest for some people. Easy to say you are on DM "since launch" since you cannot prove it and no one cant disprove it.
