Also level 7 is still pretty low for dlc imo unless your team is really good or you are really good at combat
The lowest level of the wedding cake is literally 20 L13s, standing around.
You can ambush 1 walking patrol and beat him 7v1, barely.
You probably can't handle 2 L13s at the same time.
You certainly cannot handle 5 of them waking up 5 more.
At L11 with good gear (esp. some figurines for early fodder), it's feasible.
The first big fight will clear out a large safe corner.
From there, standard lure-and-run tactics can dismantle the rest.
Craghöldt (inside) has its own pitfalls.
None of it is urgent. Go level up some more.

L7.9 suffices for WM1 itself. (We level up to L8 during the 1st fight)
You may need a few decent uniques from Od Nua 4-5.
You can also return to the Dyrwood and continue with the base game. Travelling forth and back between base game and expanions is possible most of the time.
Yeah but the way the keep siege quest was represented I got the idea I had to go through the area. So I wrongly assumed the DLC all over was this difficult.
Now I'm over leveled in Stalwart lol.
I'm glad the 2nd game has level scaling everywhere.
