Just reinstalled the game after not playing for several years. When trying to launch the game from Steam, it says it is launching for a few seconds and then closes with nothing happened. I'm running on a Mac with Big Sur, my system meets all the requirements to be able to run. Anyone else seen this?...

The combat in this game seems very unpredictable. I have my warrior building pure combat. Level 9, (3s + 25)(28?) current accuracy. Against enemies debuffed with -3 Parry, -2 Dodge, -6 Armor. He consistently misses them. Like, 60% hit rate. I'm in one of the Farm Hold areas, fighting basic Ratkin, Shaman's, Giant Rat's.....and my pure combat character can't hit them reliably, even with buffs and debuffs. I've seen the combat Guide, so I know there's RNG involved, but that seems excessive. How ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ta...

I am going through Trese Brothers old games, waiting for Cyberknights to be finished, and I am just getting into the heat of things doing the quests in the first town. Saving the two farmholds *seemed* like it was urgent, and my guys were described as arriving in the nick of time, after taking a single rest in the East one. But that got me wondering. Is it possible to fail a quest due to backtracking, resting too much, etc. Star Traders was really good at keeping you moving as if you had a fire burning...

I find this area significantly harder than the infamous storerooms that I cleared in Hard with a couple of "failed sneak" deaths. So my build is not too bad I guess. However the river is one big open area and the Krates are smart enough to snipe the Wizard. I don't have any other option than kiting back to the rocky northern part, if I fight in the open that's guaranteed death. Am I missing something or is it just one of these spikes?...
