Workshop Maps

OK, I'm certain when I get the answer to this, I'm going to slap my forehead at how easy it is. How in the world does one add maps to the game? I've tried subscribing, favouriting, creating a collection list and adding maps to it, and they refuse to appear in my game. I'm sure the answer is obvious, but I can't figure it out.

You subscripe to them then you go to singleplayer vs ai and in the top right corner of the map selection you can enable custom maps. Then it should just show up like any other map. The same works for multiplayer. But you can only see lobbys from maps you have currently installed.
