Those things are sexy. Are we able to pilot them at some point? Been doing some missions and I am at the part where I gotta find someone to talk to find Juno. Dude offers me a chance to join him. But I wont because I want to fly those Militia destroyers.

Yes. They usually fly McKinley class cruisers. Pretty sure most everything the militia flys you can get at some point.

I am enjoying this game. Really hope for DLC or mods. This game has awesome potential.

The destroyer used by the militia is the Arcturus-class. It's unfortunately in a different color scheme when you buy it, though. You won't be able to unless you're friendly with the militia, not just neutral, and only at a militia station, of which there are none in the starting system.

You don't need to be frendly to militia, neutral is enough. I bought Arcturus with rather low status with militia.

You can also buy a "Arcturus" from Mercenaries Guild, if I remember correctly.
