A MK2 Frigate will prretty much the difficulty cap for the first system.

what can i say, loadout made a big diff, i was setup for melee: beams and laser, went to long range: cannons,flak, pulse turrets....all long range....what a diff.
they only work well when paired with anti shield weaponry.
