Selling Narco-Cola

In the starter system it says in-system average price is 2,700 but I've not found any stations that buy it. All stations have it marked as ILLEGAL. How do I sell this stuff?

If I can't sell it, how do I trash it? Dumping it out of my cargo hold shows up as cargo on pulse scanning and I fly over to pick up stuff and it's Narco-Cola again.

You can lock onto and destroy cargo with turrets (or at enough distance, with broadsides). Alternatively, once you have a jump drive, leaving a system clears it of junk like cargo you've left behind.
