Make it big. Blackgate is the biggest ship a player can use.

These are capital ships. Figure the starter corvette (the smallest ship) is at least as big as several modern aircraft carriers. Space stations would be as big as a small city. The Blackgate would be the size of a small moon. If you're fitting them into a tabletop rpg don't bother with statistics unless you're doing ship to ship combat in which case http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/MSRD:Starship_Movement_and_Combat

"STARSHIP FIGHTING SPACE

Each square in starship scale measures 500 feet along a side (instead of 5 feet, as in character-scale combat). All starships, regardless of size, have a square fighting space. Some starships occupy a single 500-foot square, while others have a larger fighting space, as noted below.
An ultralight starship can be up to 250 feet long. It occupies a 250-foot-by-250-foot fighting space, and up to four ultralight starships can occupy a single 500-foot square.
A light starship measures 251–500 feet in length. It has a 500-foot-by-500-foot fighting space and occupies a single 500-foot square.
A mediumweight starship measures 501–1,000 feet in length. It occupies a 1,000-foot-by-1,000-foot fighting space (4 500-foot squares).
A heavy starship measures 1,001–1,500 feet long. It has a 1,500-foot-by-1,500-foot fighting space (9 500-foot squares).
A superheavy starship is 1,501 feet long or longer. The smallest superheavy starships (measuring 1,501–2,000 feet long) have a 2,000-foot-by-2,000-foot fighting space (16 500-foot squares), although larger fighting spaces are possible."

Figure the Corvette is a heavy starship and the rest are superheavy. Like I said-RG involves BIG ships.

The scale of ship is rather hard to tell, but here is my estimation using the Blackgate. I measured a picture of the blackgate in a space station hanger, it was 9 inches long. The white box outlining a turret hardpoint was about a quarter of an inch. If say that turret was 10m big irl, then the Ship itself is approximatly 480 meters long, about 150 meters longer than a Nimitz class aircraft carrier. It's crew complement would likely be somewhere between 5000-8000 depending on how much automation is available in this future.

I think this is a fair size for this universe setting, anything larger and you get to Star Wars size ranges. ( A star destroyer is 1600m long.)

Of course space stations depicted in game are grossly undersized (something only slightly bigger than a blackgate said to have a population of 3m people.) as are planets.

Yeah it's tough because everything is cartoon scale. I think ignoring planets and stations your estimate feels right.

I think the population listed on planetary stations is for the planet, not the station... :steamfacepalm:

Only thing I've found on this is one of the concept art pieces for the Sorcerer, states that it is 460m long, hopefully you can work the rest out from there :steamhappy:

Edit: I'm assuming the "m" is for meters
