To transition a Play By Cloud game to a internet/lan game:
1. Save the Play By Cloud game. This can be done while observing the game world by using the Save Game button from the esc menu.
2. Go to the internet/lan lobby.
3. Click the Load Game button. Your Play By Cloud save should be visible.
This also works vice versa.
Also, my friend and I were finally able to get a game to go from cloud to real-time and back to cloud. But we did it by having him save it even though I was the original host. For some reason I could not get the new cloud save to work for us, but he saved it and it worked.
