Play By Cloud bugs

Anyone else having a lot of issues with this? The open game list has only games that are full listed, for instance. And your own games don't show up there for some reason. And... you are unable to switch your games from cloud to real-time. The cloud save button is not active.

To clarify, the cloud save button on the save screen is for saving your singleplayer games to the cloud for backup purposes. This is distinct from Play By Cloud matches.

To transition a Play By Cloud game to a internet/lan game:
1. Save the Play By Cloud game. This can be done while observing the game world by using the Save Game button from the esc menu.
2. Go to the internet/lan lobby.
3. Click the Load Game button. Your Play By Cloud save should be visible.

This also works vice versa.

We are looking into the issue with full games clogging the Open Games list. Use Join Codes as a workaround for now.

Also, my friend and I were finally able to get a game to go from cloud to real-time and back to cloud. But we did it by having him save it even though I was the original host. For some reason I could not get the new cloud save to work for us, but he saved it and it worked.

The AI/computer took over his Civ in the Staging Room

thats great to hear about the "full list" problem being looked into. i think thats a big deal and will really bring more players in, because everyone, like me, want to find friends to play with and also learn alittle first

the work around we did is just loaded the original save... which sadly made 2 identical "MY Games" which was bad

I think that is ok. He should be able to join into the match and it should slot him back into his old civ.

Another thing I noticed today, in my ongoing cloud game the alerts are partly in English and partly in Chinese (the language of my opponent). I cannot read Chinese, so this is a problem. Can this be fixed?

Can't even get cloud multiplayer to work. This has been broken since February??
