As you say, there are significant elements of cost in producing new game assets, for charity or otherwise, though it wouldn't be bad publicity for the title either and would give fans an opportunity to contribute too, which they clearly want to on evidence from this thread.

Well generally thats part of the donation the company is doing. They compt the expenses of making the dlc as part of the donation.
