Where is the 25th Anniversary Soundtrack?
Where is the 25th Anniversary soundtrack? There is a Sid Meier's Civilization VI soundtrack, but not the 25th Anniversary Soundtrack. Does anyone know if it got installed to a different location than the Civ VI music or if we got mislead and were given a Civ VI soundtrack instead of the 25th Anniversary Soundtrack in which case we may need to file a complaint about false advertising and get our money back for the Digital Deluxe Edition extras that were not included with the game?

steamapps>common>Civ 6>Soundtrack

Check the album cover down the bottom to confirm it's the 25th Anniversary Soundtrack.

I don't have a separate Soundtrack folder in the steamapps/common folder.

And the Civilization VI Soundtrack's album cover says it's the 25th Anniversary Soundtrack... which isn't the 25th Anniversary soundtrack, it's the Civ VI music...

I found it in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\DLC\Sid Meier's Civilization 25th Anniversary Soundtrack

What program will play a .ogg file?

WinAmp plays a majority of sound files.
I see the files just wish had some straight MP3 option. :104:

My system default is Firefox, and .ogg is described as an HTML Document, so I guess those are HTML-based soundfiles that you can open with any Web Browser. You have to enable JavaScript for it to work though.

Listen right here through steam !

Click on the library tab now you will see a tab representing your games. Click on the games tab & switch to Music. Presto ! you can now listen to your Civ games music/sound track to your hearts content without having to install ogg players etc.

Thanks for this. I especially like China's Medieval music in Civ VI.

.ogg files also play fine through VLC media player.

That's all sorts of non-sense. That they open for you in your webbrowser just means you have a strange association set in your Windows installation. Javascript has nothing to do with these files.

VLC Player, Steam Music or installing extra codecs and using any other media player does work though.

Is there any way to get these files into my Itunes library?
Sniper_Pilot Dec 28, 2016 @ 4:35am
Yes, type into Google ".ogg file converter", upload files desired, and convert them to .mp3 files. Then put all these files into one folder, copy and paste this folder to your "Automatically Add to Itunes" Folder (music/itunes/itunesmedia). You'll have to edit them all individually in Itunes to get them into same album and correct names etc. which is a bother but that's a way to do it.
