Wow. I was telling some people just yesterday that I thought Red Death was cute, but I didn't think anybody would plop down money on Civ 6 just to play a variant.
/salute
Not really. They said they put in just enough AI to let the AI somewhat take over if a player leaves or drops. But certainly not enough to call it a functional single player.
I bought it at a BIG discount...under $15. I wouldn't pay full price for it. But I bet it is popular enough among current CIV 6 players that one day it will be spun off into its own standalone game.
Actually I think it should be spun off because I bet there are a lot of people like me who'd love it but don't really like Civ games in general (I hate diplomacy in games). It is so different that it should not even be in a Civ game...and that price is holding back people who want it but don't want to pay a CIV6 price to get it.
Also I really h*cking want to watch the game after death. Just make it so chat is no longer available post death. No downsides. No cheating. Just a way to see to see if that guy you some how bonded over killing each other has won.
