Is Civ Six worth the full price?
Basic question. Should I wait? I have 930 hrs in Civ 5 it was fun. I didn't buy it on download. i bought a disc from Wal Mart. So I probibly payed full price. I know I paid full price for all the dlc's as they came out. No matter. It was worth the full price. But is Civ 6 right now?

I really like Civ VI, so while I'd say it's "worth" the full price (if you've got cash to spend on entertainment, it's your choice how to spend it), but unless you're just dying to play it, I'd try to find it on sale.

I would say "yes" but to be aware there are issues and you will more than likely face them. So if you can handle that it's up to you tbh. Again, just be prepared to face the issues until they are fixed and yes they are more than likely to be fixed, but the "when" is the big great unknown.

Don't buy it,wait for a fix.

Buy it now, and you'll excitedly read through future change notes :)

Yes, but if you have not bought it now, might as well wait. Seen some Black Friday ads online, will be able to pick it up cheaper

No, it's not. Wait and see how things turn out. There are countless finished games that are far better than Civ VI is at this time, one of them being Civ V. Oh, and never pay full price for anything on Steam. Wait for Steam sales.

Wait. There are some game-breaking glitches still at large. They will make you rage hard. Wait a couple months. I've honestly given up on the game.

That depends a lot on your taste right now, I recommend taking a good look on the game qualities and on its issues to see if you care about the issues to the point you won't enjoy it and if the qualities are enough to make up for the issues.

Personally I'm having fun, I love how the game rewards planning and how the new systems add more interesting choices to the game but I played peacefully so far (I didn't get a single warmonger penalty point yet), so some of the issues didn't affect me (e.g. AI struggling to update units).

Anyway, It's likely that we will get a major patch before the holydays, probably a lot sooner than that, so at this point might be a good idea to wait into the patch is out and already start with a better experience, maybe even get a small discount by then.

In 2 more huge patches, it might be.

For first timers like me it's worth it(I'm having a blast and have no idea how the game was before) but most of the complaints come from those who have played previous iterations of the game.

My long time Civilization nose smells me now isn't the right time to buy that N°6 of that beloved brand.
So many games coming out at full price while they're not even fully playable these days... it's almost unbelievable.
60$ means a proud fully tested working game... or nothing.
Imagine a guy selling you a car which is missing some parts, like the break for instance...

Wait at least until the Aztecs unlock, since you can't play them now anyways. Hopefully, when the Aztecs get unlocked for the muggles, a patch will also come down.

Rarely is a game worth the $60.
