Is there a zoom function?
I can't find it. Normally it isn't an issue but when two wonders get built at the same time the screen zooms way in and I can't then zoom out again. I have to save and reload. Help please...

Shouldn't your mousewheel do it?

I play on a laptop with a touchpad. Other thoughts?

+/- or the mousewheel are your only options I guess.
Unfortunately you can't change the keys for this feature in the menu.

My mousewheel doesn't work anymore, so I use an AutoHotkey programme, using this script which enables PgUp and PgDn to be my zoom keys:

PgUp::
MouseClick,WheelUp,,,3,0,D,R
return

PgDn::
MouseClick,WheelDown,,,3,0,D,R
return

Just copy and paste that :)

EDIT: Here is the website https://autohotkey.com/

On a pad usually two fingers on either side of the pad triggers the "wheel"-function, then you drag both fingers up or down to simulate wheel-up/down.

I played Civ 5 for over 4000 hours, only recently deciding to give Civ 6 a go. So far I have spent more time figuring out the interface, than playing the game. Would it have been too much trouble to have the screen size matching the resolution of the desktop without having to edit the AppOptions manually or to follow Civ 5 configuration and have the minus and plus keys operating a zoom in and out? Anyway, furher to the post above by XistenZ, on a laptop the zoom can be operating with two fingers, in the same was as on a smart phone, by pinching in and out.
