How to use builders?
I realize I'm not using them properly. Most of the time I use them only to upgrade resources, but don't to create mines and farms on flat tiles. Is it worth it to do so?

Also, for districts porpouse, saving one diamond shaped tiles (3 tiles) linked to my city is good enough?

Pay attention to adjantency bonuses, in particular for Economic Districts.

Yeah, you really need to build mines. There aren't very many improvements that add production, lumber mills and mines are absolutely necessary, especially once you have a large population capable of working all of the tiles in your borders.

Oh, I see. Will definetely make them now! :D

Are farms that are not in a resource important too or should I pass them?

Edit: to not open a new topic: the bonuses that trader gain from districts are based on the origin or destination? Like to gain +1 production I need an encampment where?

I don't really tend to build farms. I prop up population with internal trade routes and save my land for high-yield tiles (improved resources or mines/mills) or districts. I only build farms in the early game to get tech/civic boosts. This is just my playstyle, I'm not saying it's the best, but I never have problems with population, I ALWAYS have problems with housing. (and .5 from each farm doesn't go very far to help that)

They're based on the districts at the destination. This is why I generally tend to send my traders to base in my outlying, smaller, newer cities, and send them on routes toward my capitol which has infrastructure built already.

I tend to try to leap-frog builders such that as one is about to expire, I set the city to build another builder and clear a forest/jungle with the remaining builder charge. This comes close to completely producing the new builder.

I am careful to not let forests go to waste by building a district on an uncleared hex.

This new districts system. I hope I get to like it, but not played long enough to comment really.

Anyone played plenty of Civ 5 & Civ 6, good system or not. Better with or without?

I mine every hill and develop every special resource. I tend to make farms because they add to housing and productivity. There are some research items that boost the productivity of farms. See for example Feudalism. Builders also give significant eurekas to the research items, so I focus on obtaining those fairly quickly (develop 3 tiles, mine a resource, have 6 farms, etc.).

My bad habit with builders is that I tend to buy them and not build them. I think there are better things to spend gold on but I usually want the builder right away.

I build farms next to rivers. Not nesc every river tile. I save some for districts. If you "link" consecutive farm tiles it gives a bonus.
