CHICKEN CHASER
Has anyone else encountered this weird experience where NPCs will repeatedly and consistently say a line relating to chicken chasing even when absolutely of the sort is going on? It's possible to stand absolutely still in the guild yard with no chickens in sight, and hear the line once every 20 seconds.

It's a current title of your Hero.
You can change that in the shop near the guild entrance.

that is because chicken chaser is your current title, later they will say other things, but the original was the same way, tons of repetitiveness...

Well do you chase chickens? those kind of awful deeds spread like the Oakvale fires in the world of Albion, Hero.

Chasing chickens is a way of life in Fable. Even if people don't see you do it on the spot, they know you have done so or will do so at some point in the game. If not, you're showing blasphemous behavior :masonfist:

It's a hero title. You can change it to something like "Sabre" or "Hood" after getting the Guild Seal.

I prefer my hero to be called Arseface myself.

Ok, thanks. I thought it was some weird bug. Still getting used to this game. I saw the title seller, and for some reason couldn't put two and two together.

haha. reminds me of the loading screen in... two? "the old guildmaster was found murdered, with the words "hero, your health is low" carved into his head.
