Considering this will be considered a "Console Port" and when I played this on 360 the frame rate was capped at 30 and it felt awful to say the least. So my opinion it'll be capped at 30 too, but who knows. The specs are extremely low so it would be extremely stupid to cap a game such as this at 30 when most people can manage this at 60 no problem. Just hope it doesn't have optimization issues as most console ports tend to have this effect on PC. Companies like Capcom and Rockstar are the worst at optimization for their games.

I HIGHLY doubt that it's capped at 30fps. It is the Unreal Engine after all. I've never heard of a game using this engine and being capped to 30.

As I said most of these console ports tend to be capped at 30 because developers are to lazy to rewrite the way textures and DoF are rendered for PC. Rather slap on a cap and rewrite it to work for PC and boom. Now if the game was made for multiple platforms at the start then I believe the game would have better performance as it was developed longer. It's all about money and no time to gaf about us, the gamers who buy our favorite titles. But thats my opinion.

It's not capped at 30 fps, this much I know. During testing I've been at 60 (using a 60hz monitor), not sure if that's the cap though.

"Improved graphics!

With the power of PC we’re able to bring you the Fable experience in new levels of high definition glory at 60+ frames per second, on anything up to a 4k resolution screen. They say a picture speaks a thousand words, so we’ll let these screenshots do the talking:"

The game's been consistently at 60 fps on my 4k monitor, so seems that the game's been pretty well optimized. Ran as smoothly as a baby's bum.

I have two GTX 460 FTWs. I'm sure we can both max the game at 60fps on one card. Especially you, why are you even worried when you have a powerhouse card?

same question for me. I got a 144Hz monitor too. Im a bit worried , because Fable 3 on my rig couldn't hold high framerates in the cities.. it dropped from 144 to 58 and fluctuating in terms of framerate on the highest settings ( i got a i5 2500K @4,5Hz 8Gb and 2x GTX680 in Sli ). Thats stopping me right now for ordering the game. I'm very curious if Fable Anniversary is better optimized than Fable 3 what seems to be a bad port. I am going to wait for the first perrformance reviews and after that im going to decide if i am going to order the game.

Compare Fable 3 requirements to Anniversary.. can you see how it probably won't require much effort to get this to run at 60+ fps
