99% of the games in my Steam library work perfectly at 21:9.
I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about??? Yes, Flawless Widescreen is a great tool - I simply launch if before launching the game. Why is that difficult?
In fact, as of right now, there are only two games in my entire library of 300 plus games that I can't get to work in 21:9.
FIFA 15, and Splinter Cell Blacklist.
That's it. 2 out of 321 games.
This way we can support new patched versions without losing the executable modifications
(This patcher is tested on resolution 2560x1080)
WARNING: At the startup of the application a memory error occurs (this is NOT a virus, i don't know why this happens) currently looking into it, if you don't see the error please report this, maybe there is something with my development environment)

This is yet another reason, though, why people would much prefer the developer to fix their own game.
Every time we're forced to download something off-site there's the threat of a virus. I'm not saying these people are bad - but let's face it, there ARE a million bad people out there.
How is that abusing the system? Perhaps you'd like to play a game on your nice widescreen monitor and have it scrunched up with two black bars on either side?
People who can afford an LG 34" monitor are not complaining about the whole $59.99 for the game, but it's crap to sell a contemporary game without that support.
Contemporary games have great 21:9 support. Had no problems with GTA 5 or Mad Max or anything else that new. A game as big as MGS5 SHOULD have 21:9 support.
I don't get it, replace whic exe in that folder?
Do you want us to replace mgsvtpp.exe itself because then the game doesn't work and there is no other exe in the folder.
Backup your mgsvtpp.exe first (Call it mgsvtpp.exe_BAK or something) then just copy the exe.
It should work... Ive had it with another game where I just somehow the fix was just replascing the exe.
