Best way to get Golden Crescent?

Keep running low from my tranq sniper, what's the easiest way to get it?

Herb collecting dispatch missions.
Even ones not aimed at a particular herb will return a few.

I only got this mission once :/ any way to repeat it ?

Also, yes. Take "botanist" soldier (2.5x more herbs) compare to Snake who is only 2.0x
and free roam. just a single spot of haoma worth 25*5000 = 125 000 !
Take DD aswell to spot things . Dress forest or olive drab, take your trank rifle (the wood frame = RolePlay) and gather any animal / plant you find. it perfect for chill deployement, sightseeing, nature exploring and lowering your demon score. :) you can even listen to relaxing / nature music

Not all are named as herb collection, those that are return the huge number of herbs.
Check what rewards missions return. If a herb is a reward, do it. Ignore the dispatch title.

Be sure you're picking up just about any plant that's near you, are interrogating enemies to reveal material locations, and sending your men out on combat deployments as these provide a good amount of resources.

Uhh, no. Golden crescent doesn't grow in Africa. I pick up wormwood and digitalis in Africa whenever I see them. I'm not 'doing something wrong'. I've just only been in Africa recently

Honestly I think its a loadout issue. What loadout are you using for story missions? My load out is below which hardly uses anthing and can deal with any real situation in missions. You will never run out of anything as long as you do active combat deployments.

Honeslty the cigar, box, and capture cage is not necessary and will further make the loadout nothing. However, since i never run out of those materials i just dont care.

My FOB loadout however is a extremly costly.

My advice is (if you're using the last tier weapons which you actually shouldn't, unless it's really necessary), is to collect enough plants to cover your deployment cost.

I never go out without my Stun Rifle / Sleep Sniper and Sleep Pistol. It takes 12 Golden flowers. So whenever I deploy into a mission, I pick atleast 1 flower to compensate for the cost. That way you can never go out of resources.

If you max your night vision goggles you can wear them at any time to help you find plants easier. Also, send you team out on missions that bring back golden cresent.
