Killing the skulls on Extreme.

This was a tough fight for me. So I thought I would pass along a few helpful pointers I picked up in my repeated attempts at this mission. First off you need a high penetration weapon like the 12.7mm anit-material sniper rifle. at this point it has the most penetration of any gun I have come across. second you will want to equip quiet with her tranq rifle, she will keep all the zombie soldiers knocked out till you have time to extract them after the skulls are taken care of. So now you have your basic loadout (if your not worried about an S rating, bring active camo) When the cutscenes end there will be a airplane hanger in front of you, run to the back corner and climb the ladder. Tag a skull with your binocs so you can keep track of a specific unit, Focus on one unit until it is dead. staying on the high part of the roof you will be able to fire on them, while the rocks they throw break on the edge of the roof. leaving you ample time to line up head shots. The main danger in this fight is the rock spire that comes up out of the ground and explodes. if you are in range it will one hit kill you. listen for the noise it makes when its coming up and then again before it explodes. if you can avoid those, the only other danger is a CQC attack from a skull which can easily be avoided on the roof. 3 shots to the head takes down the armour, 4-5 more for a kill. If you call in a weather modification/Rain it will get rid of the smoke making it possible to receive support drops. And as a nice side effect it stuns the skulls long enough to take one of them out. when a skull is killed its body will remain as long as it keeps raining. if the sun comes out they will melt and you cant extract them. so when you get the notification that the weather is clearing call in another strike to keep it raining. Alternatively you can use active camo to run and retrieve the skulls bodies. And when they are in the hanger below you, you can fire through the windows. after you have cleared all the skulls out be sure to run through the whole base and extract the soldiers while they are still knocked out. I just used the Mortars, the trick is to get the skulls to be "searching" the inside of the buildings
