Using Stealth Camo
Sometimes while I'm using Stealth Camo I can get spotted by the enemy and then I still have the Stealth Camo equiped how can they see me excatly? Then sometimes my Stealth camo auto unequips by itself while still having more than enough battery and without even being spotted then I have to equip it fast so I won't be spotted. Anyone experiencing this?

When doing certain missions, this happened to me. If I recall correctly, it happened to me in Traitor's Caravan, when visiting an outpost to do the objectives. I wanted to run away from the outpost sprinting and then BAM, they've detected me. What the ♥♥♥♥? I repeated this a few times to make sure it happened... it did. wtf

After using the Stealth Camo, I discovered some weaknesses that are probably the cause of your complaints:

-Sprinting while in very close proximity (10 meters or so?) to enemies still gets you detected. Not sprinting seems to be fine, though they'll still hear your footsteps.

-Being hit with bullets or an enemy bumping into you seems to unequip the Stealth camo.

-If enemies see you, simply equipping the Stealth Camo isn't enough to lose them; You need to break line of sight first.

Actually, I used to run in circles around an enemy and make fun out of him. Yes, sprinting - and he didn't detect me at all. He heard it, but not detected.

Yeah, that's true, happened to me when I went and wanted to fulton a prisoner when a guard was 4m away. But I expected him to see me, after all I'M UNDER HIS DAMN NOSE!

Well, you are under his nose when you're sprinting nearly touching them and yet they won't see you like you said as well.

I think the fulton animation triggers their alert, it makes sense you are stealing stuff from them after all.
As far as i know, running in front of enemy is fine. Just don't sprint and/or dive (press Space) in their field of vision or near them since diving make loud noise when character hit the ground. Also, the Stealth Camo will auto unequip if you bumped with the enemy or falling from high ground.

I've tested it, only diving near them will alert them, you can sprint.

Stealth camo in this game doesn't work like in previous Metal Gear games. You can't escape from alert phase by equipping the camo, for example.

You can sprint near enemies or tanks without problems, but if they discover you, the camo becomes useless and won't hide you at all. You need to really hide in order to leave alert phase.

The stealth camo will be unequipped by itself (like in previous MG games) if:
-you bump yourself against an enemy
-you get hit by an enemy.
-you get damage of any kind (stamina or health, doesn't matter).

The random loss of Stealth Camo doesn't seem to be an issue with the way AI and usage of the item work. I think it's just a bug when selecting other weapons and keyboard controls. I find myself constantly unequipping NVGs and Noctocyanin while doing FOBs and I never even come close to pressing 4 on my keyboard. If I'm selecting other weapons like primary or secondary, it just randomly deselects them at times. Another oddity I'm finding lately, most notably ever since Dec 17th patch, is when I hold 3 and move my mouse to select say, Sleep Grenades, which are directly to the right, sometimes it'll select something else nearby. When I take my hand off the mouse and hold 3 again, it defaults the item I selected the first time. Game is just wacky, no real explanation for this stuff beyond just bugs. Don't ever expect any of it to get fixed either. There's only DLC microtransaction staff currently employed at Konami. Not a single bug fix since the major one related to Quiet breaking save files.

I was about to post something like that because it happens to me as well it's so annoying. I try to use the sleep grenades and instead it switches to the decoys, the hell? So I'm not the only one but I never saw anybody complaining about this you are the first one, maybe players are using the controler instead.

So it's connected? I see...
