Personally think the FOB missions are super fun.
No intention of hijacking the thread, but ... would you happen to know how long it'll be before that feature goes offline?
I personally loathe all kinds of competitive multiplayer and have put MGS5 on hold after starting shortly post release of the game... until this "feature" finally goes away.
I haven't, though, but there you have the reason why it will never go offline. That profit alone justifies it.
You can play offline with a mod, you don't need to wait. I believe Infinite Heaven allows you to start always in offline mode.
You can also create an outboud traffic rule for MGSV in windows firewall. Search how to, and please do it in DuckDuckGo, not Google.
Thank you for that hint! (Also @trembo) I didn't know there was a mod protecting me from losing single-player stuff to multiplayer invasions that I have no intention of ever initiating or defending against.
