My Thoughts On Reflex Mode
I just feel like saying something about reflex mode.
To start, it is overpowered as hell, taking all of the fun and suspense out of stealth. With it active it is possible to run into an outpost and chain together 6 or 7 "reflexes" and clear out everyone with all headshots and no alerts with ease.

Turning it off, the gameplay is suddenly far more fun, and infinitely more care and precision must be put into infiltration. Where once if you made a wrong move and a simple dart or bullet to the face solved all your problems, now your mission is screwed for stealth.

But I think there should be a third option - something I believe should be the default option - in which you get one reflex mode use when you start a mission or enter a major outpost. So you could choose to have reflex mode off completely, always on, or partially on.

The point of my post was only to express my feelings about this mechanic. And I addressed turning off reflex mode in the second paragraph.

i dont know if im stupid or so , but i dont really see it as that op.

reason why ?

whenever i get a chance to use it . My character needs the ENTIRE reflex mode to get his weapon UP ! i can press the weapon button as much as i want.

Everything goes slow as ♥♥♥♥ and so does the animation. It's really a pain to watch and mostly AFTER reflex mode i get the chance to shoot , but after that there is mostly already alert :^)

so sorry maybe im "bad" or doing something wrong , but i dont see it as op more like useless ,however maybe i use it the wrong way .

This sounds like you are trying to switch weapons during reflex mode. But the reflex time is also affected by the time since your last shower on mother base. The dirtier you are the shorter reflex mode is.

hmm probably ... idk im used to other games that switching to smaller guns like pistoles is faster than pulling off a giant sniper rifle or anything like that ... gotta try it then x)

In game you didn't notice the game is very easy, even a child can complete it, hence why this game as a lot of positive review.

This is a casual game

Raven raven, stop showing your hater side, are you really that desperate to say that MGSV has positive reviews because it is ''easy''? Then explain me how Dark Souls series has good reviews?

mgsv sucks the big pee pee lol

Kojima did explain their thoughts about this.

Game was progression from original MG gameplay where it was more like a choice of few tunnels - here you have enemies and interest points in 360 radius.

Reflex mode wad added to compensate for that, but it was mostly added because of console adn it's limited ability to keep aituation awareness.
You can turn it off if you do not like it - not everyone is a decent player and a lot of players are still learning so some may need it.

Good players will avoid using it as it effects natural raection when you hear a sound and you do a quick snap.
Sadly I was using it in FOB because I wanted to get less points per infiltration and it really interrupts the flow of your reflexes and takes away the rush.
But I understand players will play this game with the controller and they kinda need more time to snap and react to everything

It is something that allows more casual players to approach the better players in their ability to react quickly, while offering better players an 'oh fek' button to clean up an otherwise sloppy move that they rarely make, as well as make up for having to occasionally engage in a camera battle to see around a corner that you'd otherwise be able to see around if the camera wasn't fighting you. (As well as the contextual cover sometimes mucking about and insisting you want to peek up and over the wall instead of around the low corner so you don't get spotted, it will give you some seconds to fix that error)

It's a fun thing to have if you like more of a story run and you're not particularly going for maximums, you can conflate it as moments where sheer dumb luck beats indoctrinated skill, but and you're found, but you're still Venom and so you're still going to have a good chance to recover- it's hard to emulate such snap reflexes without slowing the game down to allow more casual players a fighting chance to pop someone before it's too late. (Though I feel the WU S. Pistol's sights are too bloody fat and that is the cause of 80% of my whiffed shots)

I imagine that 99.9% of us players arent special forces or SWAT or anything similar. Reflex mode makes up for our lack of speed. Go on youtube and look at live fire CQB entry teams and how fast one person can engage multiple targets. Even actors can be trained to that degree, though obviously not as good as the people who do it for a living. Below are some videos of what i mean.

Obviously, no difficulty setting when GZ had one, by default it's very easy and then you can make the game even more easier....... having no options to have a challenge at least fit for a human is insulting, here even a monkey can complete this game.....

If you're dumb enough to think that MGS V is a complete masterpiece then you deserve reflex mode
