Languages in subtitles

this game needs language for other countries, for example pt-BR, I have the X Rebirth, but I do not play for not having subtitles in my language, these days, most games besides subtitles are dubbed, at least the company could provide the subtitles for our language, since the game is very complicated, but neither Spanish has in the game

I am brazilian too. The game has full internationalization support and you can easily add any language to it by modding. Heck, you can even change the audio to full pt-BR if you wanted.

I just don't think that at this point in time Egosoft themselves will add any further language to the game. It is not reasonable to expect that from them.

If you wish to assemble a team for that pt_BR translation I'm all in.

It would be nice to send to the crowdin, there would be enough help, and then this translation would already exist, at the moment I'm already in the ark project, but I don't have no idea how to work with the archives of the game, I explored and no found language folder, if it was known what to work, I even ventured, I translated Assetto Corsa, F1 2010 and ark, this game deserves a translation, even though it is cool, and confusing to play

The assets are in cat/dat format, which you can explode by using the X Rebirth tools[forum.egosoft.com]. You would then use the modding guide[forum.egosoft.com] to add the language to the proper places. The modding guide[www.egosoft.com] on the wiki might also be useful.

Translating is done by community members, so the best thing to do is to go to the official forums and in the right section, post about your willingness to do that for the X games.

I'm going to study these files, let's see if it's a lot, I'm hoping to get the new expansion of ark to translate, then I'm free to do it slowly
