Visual and audio stuttering
Alrighty, just downloaded the 2033 and last light redux games, currently trying to play the 2033 redux but no matter what my graphical settings are set to (even lowest possible) the game has periodical hitching/stuttering. The audio will also hitch/stutter at the same time the FPS stutters.

My rig is well above required specs;
8320 @ 4.6ghz
280x @1135Mhz
8GB RAM
Realtek ALC889

All drivers are fully updated, as in newest available drivers.

Help?

Issue is still present. Hurts my experience greatly...

Had the same problemwith this game, an audible crackle/stutter every few seconds, the only soultion for me was forcing windows to unpark CPU cores. ParkControl[bitsum.com]
Using this utility I simply chose "disabled" for the two parking options on the left side within the utility. Stutter gone.
This is on a fx6300 @ 4.4 ghz, all energy savings and c6 disabled in bios and power plan set to performance.

I do not have parked cores.

What operating system do you run? Windows hides the parking functions, I thought mine were not parked either but observing the resource monitor when idle showed mine were parking.

many people who thought this would not apply to them have fixed the issue by unparking, myself included. Hope it helps.

Windows 7.

All of my cores experience load, but yes they park at idle.
I'm not changing such an extreme power saving option for one single game to run properly

Agreed that it should not have to come to this

I have the same problem as well, on a similar system. Constant frame stutters and audio popping. The game is unplayable this way.

Windows 7 x64 SP1
core i7 6700K 4.0 GHz
GTX 980 Ti
16 GB RAM
Realtek ALC 1150

Hello, it's been too long for me to remember specifics... but I did eventually get this fixed by downloading a third party mod. Hope this helps...

Well I did a search but couldn't find any mods for 2033 Redux at all, but thanks anyway for the info.

That is because there aren't mods. Maybe some paramater injectors, but nothing much for actual mods.
