Cannot use Sniper rifle

For some reason I can't use my sniper rife, when I try to fire it start to sounds like it out of gas or something, any idea?

If its a pneumatic weapon, then you need to charge it. Hold down R and charge it like your flashlight.

Sorry, I do not know how to charge the flashlight, but holding just "R" do nothing

While holding R you have to left click to actually acharge it up.

Can you stop being so condescending? Maybe the tutorial doesn't show up in the Redux? I don't know this either. Heck, I don't know a lot of things like checking the compass or charging the flashlight until you guys told me about it.

I'm not being condescending

Unless you are playing on ranger mode then you have obviously not seen what to do

At the very begging of redux, I was told to charge my flashlight when I picked it up and what button to press, if I used a weapon and it had no air I was told to hold R to pump it up

I was even told in the redux to use the journal to find where to go and to read the objectives by pressing M

It's not rocket science there is also something called an options menu which lists the controls

That being said if you are playing on ranger mode then my apologies

I had a hard time sometimes too, I played hardcore ranger the first time, and had to google a lot of stuff :v

you charge both things by holding f (for the light) and R (for pneumatic weapons) and left clicking

Thanks to those who replied. I didn't get that in the tutorial part either (Metro 2033 Redux). And I didn't know how to recharge the flashlight either. As I'm only scarcely using it, I didn't have to do that yet.

So yes, it is possible to play and not know how to recharge "air" weapons.
