Any spider, insect?

I know there is spiders in Last Light but is there any spider in metro 2033 original or redux? I have a fobia to them and i really want to play metro 2033.

Last light is the best game for desensibilisation to arachnophobia. The first few hours will be hard for you though ;)

The so-called spider bugs are a creature in Metro Last Light and both games in the Redux series. They are NOT part of Metro 2033 (the original). There are no "spiders" to fight in the original Metro 2033. I cannot recall every scene, but if there are spiders in the backdrops of that game, they are minimal.......

Wellllll.... the original had a level where there were some mutated enemies that resembled spiders (but with 4 apendages) that disliked light; then in LL, they essentially changed their style to just be big spiders/scorpions (also dislikes light), then in 2033 Redux they just updated those somewhat out of place mutants to just be their updated spider style. I can't see the spiders being heavy triggers that most people cannot face.

Even the worst of arachnophobes should play it, it will just be a more intense span of play which is what half the game is supposed to induce (congrats you finally found a decent game), but it certainly won't induce a heart attack.
