Rotating Anchor and Anchored AI module flips sideways
For some reason when i place a Anchored AI module on top of a Rotating Anchor, the tech flips to the side and won't get back up again. I've seen images of techs that have succeeded however and the standard Turret Joe has this as well. Anyone have a solution?

What angle is the AI cab facing? I believe the game orients the tech to match the block's placement, which can result in the issues you mentioned.

One way to fix it though, the regular cab blocks override the AI cab's orientation, so as long as you place a correctly facing regular cab, the AI cab can face whatever direction you want, but if the original cab gets removed or destroyed the tech will reorient to the AI cab.

I mean. I just place the anchor down and then add a AI cab on top. I don't alter the orientation, and just assume that the game can handle this operation...

If you're still having the issue, I'll explain: an anchored AI module needs to be anchored itself. So, you either use an anchored AI module directly in the ground - no rotating anchor involved - and build on top of it, or use a rotating anchor with an unanchored AI module on it somewhere.

The game, for whatever reason, doesn't handle an AI anchor like all the rest. It has to be the sole anchor.

What EChaos said, but also the AI module doesn't have a connection point on the bottom of the block because it has it's own anchor. So if you want it further up in the tech you have to connect it to one of the other sides so it's facing the right direction.

This game struggles a bit with block orientation.
