On the side of the trade station where you normally sell resource chunks you can carefully place the part on a specific spot near the opening inside the trade station. You will see a cube highlight when you have the part in the right place. Place the part there and the cannon will launch it and sell it.
Otherwise, if you do the "Crafty Mike" quests he will pretty quickly give you a "scrapper" that breaks the parts down into the resources they were made from and you can sell them with a resource cannon yourself or use the resources to craft new things with a fabricator.
For some of the extremely common blocks, like GSO and GeoCorp - especially their basic weapons and building blocks - here's what I do:
1. Make a tech constructed out of the aforementioned blocks.
2. Ensure that the cab of this tech is somewhere very easy to see, select, and pull off.
3. Snapshot the tech.
4. Deploy the tech from your snapshots near the sales spot.
5. Pull the cab off. This will cause the tech to collapse into a pile of its constituent blocks.
6. Wait for the trade station to finish processing the pile.
7. Repeat from step #4. The snapshot is what speeds this all up. Magnets highly recommended!
usually wait for the geocorp terminal, buy a bunch of heavy autominers, then get the GSO autominer pump from Raf's prospector pack for 4x mining speed.
find a cluster of erudite (green crystal) nodes
place HAMs, chaining together with basic blocks as needed, 1 pump works for entire chain
collect, refine, sell.
each mine worth 233k BB, just ntakes some time and vigilance to protect the base

You can see the highlighted cube under the cursor.
It might be a bug... but it's so tedious it's not worth it for more than selling a few extra things to buy a part you really need. Once you get a refinery and cannon it's much easier to just start selling green resources.
Depending on what you have this will likely mean 4 scrappers per corporation, and a ton of delivery cannons. Its tedious but worth it for the money.
