Ways to improve FPS for terra tech?

i sorta know my way around with a computer, i just need to know what things affect the FPS the most. and or how to add/fix them.

Just cause I didnt see it in any of the replies. Turning the resolution down a step or two can help out just as much as lowering the quality in my experience. drop the resolution, windowed or not doesnt seem to make much difference, but the size sure does. I run in 1920 x 1080, but have turned many games down to 1600 x 900 to help when I'm building something large. It doesnt work miracles but it will usually get you a noticable increase in frames per second.

I'm about to refund this, I can't get a stable framerate (even on fastest graphics) with these specs:

i7-6700k
32GB @ 2133Hz RAM
GTX 980 Ti
Resolution: 2560x1440

I'll probably re-buy it if you guys ever get the optimization figured out. Good luck!

that's funny, i have the same specs, except i have a watercooled cpu and gpu and I get reasonable fps.... on highest graphics.
edit: Also the same resolution. what a coincidence.

Hi guys i have an 8700K and a GTX 1080 and i regularly drop down in the single digits which is once in a while frustrating esspecially when fighting other techs

Will there be an option to autodetect and utilize CPU cores? I have a Ryzen 1800X and i would like the game to use the entire thing.
