Its just the base of it so far. It will be a mobile manufacturing base. Since will be a major part of my.. fleet/base/future?.. I want to be able to turn to defend it pretty quick. And since need travel all over "world" to reach resources it needs to be agile to reach the mountains and such.
I could always make one huge grounded base and a mobile factory. BUT then I need to find perfect spot.. and still need to travel a lot.
Some of the hovers help steer, like the large Better Future one. More hovers will make it more stable and responsive too.
Then the BF stabilizing computer helps keep things level, along with the active gyros. Then the passive gyros smooth out the movement.
And can there ever be enough thrusters? :)
If it's going to be anchored most the time you can use the anti-gravity engines to help make it lighter and more manageable too. Just remember they have a small drain on the battery.
