How do you fast travel?

I've just done level 3 or 4 where you get to the eleven city(?) and I can't go back on myself so I can't ever go back to the hobbit place ever again? there's no way back for some reason.

Once the eagles do the clifftop rescue fast travel gets unlocked

Aye, only reason to go back to earlier zones is to collect quests and stuff so you're not missing much by being locked out for a while.

You don't. It takes just as long for the eagle to stop flying in circles and land as it would to actually run there :-\ This is the weirdest "fast travel" I have ever seen in a game. The word "fast" is a joke.

You can also travel faster by using various animals like horses and Wargs, but they get unlocked after completing Queer Lodgings level.
