Buy now or wait?
Hi guys im thinking of buying a Gold edition of the game or should I wait for a lower price?
Im trying to figure out is it worth it at this price?

Just wait for more discount.
Gold Edition with all DLCS should be 30 max.

Also on UbiSOFT store the game is 50% + %20 (if you have 100 points) + 10 bucks off with code Legend.
So already - 80% off! Go get it there instead if anything.

Trying to figure that out myself. There is a demo that you can download and play. So, you can decide for yourself.

I tried the demo and it doesn't seem all that bad, it seemed to run smooth enough on my system, which is an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D 32GB System RAM and a NVidia RTX 4060 Display adapter. Your mileage may vary.

The gameplay from what I experienced seemed ok not great but ok I'm not sure I would pay $70 based on what I played but at 50% maybe, then again do I wait for it to come to XBOX Gamepass, or Epic store to do a Giveaway or a Steam mid-week madness?

I would say try the demo see if you like that first.
If you like the idea of playing a Scoundrel in an Ubisoft style Open-world Star Wars game, then now is the time to buy it, the price is right.

If you have to ask I'd say wait it's only going to get cheaper. Heck play the demo and see how much you like that.

Demo doesn't do any justice for me as they just put you in Tatooine (the most overused & boring planet in SW universe, I don't even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like sand) without prologue for introduction.

Seems like this is another case of Ubisoft style copy pasta open world...

I played the demo and it was really good. I liked it. But of course its set on Tatooine which for me is the best Star Wars planet as I loved the ANH/ESB film settings the most. I know there is a mission in Bespin as well later, but not sure what other Star Wars film environments are featured. I would hope a good mixture.

But what I saw was really good. Good blaster combat. Nice stealth mechanics. Good climbing levels etc. Lovely detailed ships and planets. Loved the cantina and Mos Eisley. And the creature pet thing is actually useful despite being there for its cuteness.

I wouldnt buy the Gold Edition because you can just get the extra missions separately later, and the cosmetic stuff is of course just crap. But the Standard Edition is probably now reasonable value for money I think.

And with Star Wars Day coming up soon ....

Make sure you like rythm games or you will get stuck fast in the game
I was waiting for 75% off, but after trying the ultra boring demo i don’t know if I’ll ever play it now.

If you thought that then its not for you.
I thought wandering round tatooine was the best part of the game. I bought the standard edition and enjoyed it but I'd had enough by the time I got to the end. Played about 50 hours then did a speed run through the ending. Left some side content.

The demo itself doesn't do enough to tell how a game may or may not appeal to the potential customer. Tatooine is a dull desert planet with nothing but sand everywhere and jutting cliffs, there is truly nothing remarkable about the place.

WTF? Its the most immersive Star Wars planet. What are you lot talking about? Were you even around in 1977?
Why would you even buy on this commie platform?

Buy from the source, you can get 60% on ubisoft connect. (without steam data-mining your PC to death when playing)

Yeah I got time to play demo last night it feels like need to wait 75% off.
I can say graphics are good as is performance gives me 160 fps with RT and all Nvidia features aroun 90-100 fps with DLAA all setting way max on my PC Intel i7 - 15th gen and RTX 4080 SUPER but if we're going to talk about gameplay I can admit it's more boring than AC. You can't climb whatever you want I don't understand why this limits after AC, exploring the desert by vehicle not fun, missions I would say ok, main character also ok but why no option to play as male. Combat system not bad either, I have seen worse so far. I found the ADS sensitivity setting too late to make my shooting feel better on my demo run, but it looks like classic SW games. Overall I decided to wait at least 75% off.

Huh? I got there same -50% discount at least I can use my 100 units to get -20% extra
Personally, I'm still waiting for a game that looks far more like Star Wars Galaxies than to keep being teased with these half baked spin-offs that only give a single taste of what once was. I don't want to play a pre-built character, I want to create and develop my own.
Until that happens, this wallet remains closed to Star Wars titles.
