Which Data to sell to who?

So I noticed some of the Syndicate data I have says that one faction will prefer it over the other, so who wants what then?

I don't think it matters, you can sell it to any faction.
I usually save it for quests that require to make a choice between two factions, then I will give the data to the faction with a lower reputation.

You can preview the sale before going through with it - the preview will show a bigger increase on the bar with the faction that goes with it. Can be a little hard to see, but comparing it vs other data that doesn't give the extra rep should make it more obvious

I think who you give it to is more a matter of whom you want to get in their good graces. It increases your reputation for that faction. I don't think it gives you a bigger reputation boost for one over the other though I'm not 100% sure on that.

If you read certain ones it says one faction may like it more, only thing I could find was 1 reddit post

in the grand scheme it does not matter - just roleplay to your hearts content

there is enough contracts - i think theres infinite - to effectively max out everyone in the long run
