This is not supposed to happen

When can we expect a fix for this, ive had this issue in almost all of the past updates but now its every 2-3 mins im having to dodge other police because they are aggro'd on me and im a cop too so....

Beyond a reasonable doubt, the AI is acting up, they wont stop chasing me even when i just sit here. Happens on vanilla, this has been a 5+ year plus kind of problem

Happened to me before the hotfix. I'll have to test sandbox again because I've been playing RLS Career recently. Also have you ever had the AI chase when you've done literally absolutely nothing? Occured to me in a parking lot for some reason and I was also a police car.

yk maybe 5 years ago you did somthing in the controlls when you made hte "chase me" a common button you clicked....

The ai will only drive at 31mph in my game after the last hotfix, the ai is definitely broken.

This right here is exactly what happens, you could just be chilling and they will chase you. I set myself up on the side of the highway waiting for someone to start running but lo behold friendly fire

I have never changed the controls, i know what youre talking about, i actually made my own chase lua but thats been disabled since before i reinstalled it.

Interesting. So I wasn't the only one. Again, it was before the hotfixes, and I have installed RLS recently which may or may not have altered the police AI. So far nothing out of the ordinary and I have had them chase me in career. They don't seem to have an eternal hatred for me so I'm content.

I have problems with taxis in career mode. I understand that for realism they could maybe stop in neighborhoods or be parked along roadsides. My taxis park at an angle in the middle of the lanes. City, Suburbs, and Highways. LOL.

I have been troubleshooting this for a few days but im wondering if theres a missing flag or misassigned function related what identifies police cars because I set Police in the name, i tried that info file and thats obsolete. Do the devs read over these too?

You could turn off simplified collisions as a temporary solution, but you won't be able crash into other vehicles or hit/ram them.
