Edit .jbeam files.
Ok so I am trying to allow more camber in the hatch suspension. For example I will go to

C:\Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/BeamNG.drive/content/vehicles/hatch.zip/vehicles/hatch

and open "hatch_suspension_R.jbeam" and in the "default", "min", "max" values I'll change the parameters from "0.975, 0.93, 1.04," to "0.975, 0.00, 2.00,". But when I click "save as" that same file path doesn't show up. and when I copy and paste the file path and save it then I get the message "You can't save to 'C:\Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/BeamNG.drive/content/vehicles/hatch.zip/vehicles/hatch'. Please choose another location." All help is greatly appreciated!

It's highly not recommended to edit the game's original files.
Also, your software is probably not allowing you either because the file is in the ZIP still (some editors cannot work with zipped files), or the game is also running, locking the ZIP.

What you should do is:
- Pick the .JBEAM file you want to edit
- Copy it to Documents/BeamNG.Drive/vehicles/<vehiclename>
That folder will work as a mirror, and the game will give priority to the files in there.
So you can put your file in there, modify it and the game will load your modified file.
If something goes bad, you simply remove the file and the game will load the original one.
As you can image, it makes breaking your game much less risky and it's more convenient.
