Theoretically, you can use third party software, actually (like nvidia shadow play, or how it calls) - there is guide on reddit about "how to play game online tru one of playstation extra apps". But, out of box, game supports local coop only and there are no plans to add online yet.
All I needed to hear. It is very possible then =)
Deal is that its some kind of weird multiplayer =) You'll see why.
1) Start teamviewer;
2) Host computer should let be controlled;
3) You'll need gamepad at host pc;
4) Create 2 chars for eachone;
5) Using Stone summon second char;
6) Resalt: Host player using gamepad and second one are using keyboard controls for second char through teamviewer.
We have end story line and it was fantastic to play it through intenet with my friend. Only one minus: you should be really good friends, becouse using teamviewer to be controlled cousing some "risks" (its too long to explain, if you have ever use teamviewer - you know what I mean).
Good luck with this great game! Be sure, you definetely should try this game with your friend!!!
Plus,if you're making a dark souls like game,realize dark souls had online multiplayer in a really good system. The system here worked too! Just go to a guy,ask him to summon a friend and you can play with them through the whole game. Sure it made it a bit too easy if you ask me,but making it local only is still a decision that I just can't respect
1) Nvidia gtx 1070 (any Nvidia card with "Nvidia Expierence" support);
2) Moonlight game streaming (extention for chrome, allows to play thru local net on one screen);
3) Log Me in Hamachi (for creating LAN thru internet for my friend);
4) xbox360 controllers (at my computer and on my friend's PC).
Good:
- nice picture at my friend's monitor;
- almost without lags (fps>40);
- opportunity to play at Salt and Sanctuary on controllers for both players;
- Masthave expirience of teamplay in great game.
Bad:
- U need to be veeery good friends with your second player, because he gets a wide accsess to your pc thru hamachi and moonlight (just read about it in net);
- At my friends pc from time to time it drops to 1 fps for 5-10 sec (1-3 times per hour);
- You need Nvidia card at host pc for that
Hope that they add normall teamplay at some day.
Good luck to all of you.
