Build for Great sword pure STR with heavy armor.

As the title says, I would like to ask you all to share your status build, armor, weapon on the build. I am currently investing in STR and also endurance so i can still move fast while wearing heavy armor.

well STR only improve your attacks what makes you moves fast with heavy armor is endurance. So Full STR builds are not really that good...


PS:Soft for 2 handed build is 34 str and for everything else is 50

Why heavy armor? Put those points into willpower will makes your life way too easier. Thrust me, I just deleted my lv131 knight because of this truth.

well, having over 50% damage reduction is a pretty big advantage, and heavy armor looks great!

By spend like 100 points in endurance just for walking nomarlly, and another 100 for rolling? Seriously?

It's true, armor is kinda pointless. I used armor up until my mage character, when I decided to try being naked, and ever since, all my characters have gone totally naked.
The fast rolls and crazy long jumps are so insanely good, it's just not worth wearing armor.

you only need about 40 points in endurance to have mid roll while wearing class 3 heavy armors, and mid rolling is not even necessary if you use a shield.

Well, i Have tried investing in will power and the result is really good actually. Problem is i currently have 61 str invested. Can I still get grey pearl in NG+?

Grey Pearls appear at the exact same location in ng+ as in ng.

Ok, I am thinking about reseting my str back to 32. I am currently using scharfichter and planning to use trinity greatsword. Is this a good idea?

What is the point to have a shield in great sword pure STR build? All you need to pair with great sword is a good nice great hammer.

Some of bosses like nameless god or murdiella mal can real tell the difference between the mid roll and fast roll.

And about the fashion, I just created a cleric with full armed with heave armor, great sword/hammer and the biggest shield, its cool. But the pure STR great sword build mean to be strike the boss to the death kinda way.

scharfichter has higher damage than trinity great sword after STR modifier. It is weird, but it is the truth. Also having a higher str points is always good in the long run.Let's say there could tell difference between 1 hit or 2 hit in the NG+2 or 3, 3 hit or 4 hit in the NG+6 or 7.

50 seems to be the main soft cap for everything.
